Aurelia von Mauberg's Polish youth team horse Diamo Dream has been sold to Portugual as a schoolmaster. The gelding will continue his sport career with Tiago Ferreira.

Diamo Dream is a 12-year old Oldenburg by Diamo Gold out of Weissenas Fürstin (by Fürst Heinrich x Akzent II x Vollkorn xx). He is bred by Roland Wünschel.

The black first came into the spotlight under owner, Polish Aurelia von Mauberg, who premiered him at international competition in April 2019.

She first competed the gelding in the junior division and in her debut year took him to CDI's in Zakrzow, Pilisjaszfalu, Vazgaikiemis, Hagen and Sopot. They were nominated on the Polish team for the 2019 European Junior Riders Championships in San Giovanni, where they finished 60th in the individual test with 66.412%.

In the 2020 corona year they showed in Hagen and Pilisjaszfalu before heading to the 2020 European Junior Riders Championships, also in Pilisjaszfalu, where they were 38th in the individual test with 66.235%.

Two weeks after the Euros trainer Ilona Janas (POL) showed Diamo Dream in the small tour at the CDI Brno before Aurelia moved up to Young Riders level at the CDI Zakrzow in October 2020. In 2021 they had a successful season with four international victories. At the 2021 European Young Riders Championships they were 26th in the individual test with 67.706%.

Von Mauberg also campaigned Diamo Dream at young riders level in 2022 but their last CDI was in April 2022, when they achieved a triple victory at the CDI Zakrzow. They did not go to their fourth consecutive European Championships and Diamo Dream has not competed internationally since Zakrzow.

Tiago Ferreira

Instead the Oldenburg gelding moved to Helgstrand in Denmark to be sold.

He showed three times at national level in Denmar in 2023. First in the early spring with Mete Sejbjerg Jensen in a Prix St Georges test (68.553%), then in an M-level test (73.611%). In November Sophie Wilson rode him in Intermediaire I class and posted 65.921%.

Diamo Dream has been sold as a schoolmaster and Young Riders' horse to Portuguese Tiago Ferreira.

The 18-year old Tiago is preparing to make his transition to YR level. In 2022 he was reserve for the Portuguese team for the European Junior Riders Championships with the palomino Lusitano Jumbo Diamantes (by Xerife dos Diamantes). He recently set up his own training business with Grand Prix rider Roberto Brasil at a brand new facility, Equiminho, in Barcelos, Portugal.
