Severo Jurado Lopez' Spanish team horse Fürstenglory has been sold to Thailand but the Spaniard has retained the ride through the Olympic year. The Riesenbeck based Olympian also welcomed a second Thai acquisition, Incognito.

Fürstenglory

Fürstenglory is a 13-year old Oldenburg by Furstenball out of Roxana (by Rohdiamant x Glorieux x Grunstein). He is bred by Heinrich Gerriets.

he was licensed at the 2013 Oldenburg Stallion Licensing in Vechta, but never did his performance test. American Grand Prix rider Jennifer Hoffmann bought Furstenglory at the Licensing in Vechta for 55,000 euro and competed him between 2014 and 2016.

Swedish horse investor Patrik Hannell bought him in 2017 and Marina Mattsson showed him in Sweden before Swedish Olympian Juliette Ramel acquired him and moved him to her base in The Netherlands.

In 2022 Ramel put the horse in training with Jurado, who was based in Denmark at the time. They made their international debut in den Bosch in March 2023 and qualified on the Spanish team for the European Championships in Riesenbeck, where they were 35th in the Grand Prix with 70.947%.

Fürstenglory has now sold to Thai dressage aficionados Phassaros Sahawat and Thitinun Sahawat.

Incognito

The Thai Sahawat family also bought the Dutch warmblood Incognito (by Davino VOD x Vivaldi) in the Netherlands.  He is bred by Marianne Hendriksen and was owned by Joop van Uytert and brothers Leo and Marthijs Brouwer.

Minderhoud on Incognito in 2022
Incognito was licensed at the 2016 KWPN Stallion Licensing and became the third best scoring stallion at the 2016 KWPN Autumn Stallion Performance Test.

He was first shown as a 4-year old by Marieke van der Putten, but after her departure to RS2 Dressage, Hans Peter Minderhoud took place in the saddle. Under Minderhoud the bay stallion finished 10th in the 2017 Pavo Cup Final and he was fifth in the 2018 KWPN Stallion Competition in February. The combination also performed at the Dutch selection trials for the 2018 World Young Horse Championships, but did not make it to the final cut.

In the summer of 2018 he had an accident in the walker and was operated on. The horse came back to full fitness and continued his training with Minderhoud. The horse was never shown internationally, but competed up to big tour level in Holland. His last start was in September 2023.

The Sahawat family also owns Allyouneediz Firfod (by Zardin Firfod x Horizont Firfod), previously shown by Polish junior rider Julia Szymanska until 2019.
