Turkey's sole international Grand Prix rider, the Switzerland based Rotem Ibrahimzadeh, has welcomed a new horse in the barn, Jupiler S.
Jupiler S is a 10-year old Dutch warmblood stallion by Charmeur out of Chamanta (by Jet Set-D x Zep). He is bred by Geert and Cora van Es.
Licensed Stallion
The chestnut stallion was discovered as a foal at the breeders by Bert Mulder. Jannie Koster obtained co-ownership.
As a 3-year old Jupiler S was accepted at the 2017 KWPN Stallion Licensing in the "Gelderlander" group and scored 83 points in his stallion performance test in which he was driven in a carriage by Harry van Middelaar as part of the testing for Gelderlanders.
In 2018 he was sent for training to Theo Hanzon, but after two months and due to an accident Niels Bax took over the ride briefly and presented him at the KWPN stallion licensing show. After that the stallion was further ridden as a young horse by Marrit Reusien.
As of 2019 the stallion was further produced to Grand Prix level by Trea Mulder-Dolsma, who showed him lightly at fourth level in 2021 and a at small tour level in 2023.
Rotem Ibrahimzadeh
A week ago, Jupiler S sold to Rotem Ibrahimzadeh who trains with Morgan Barbançon in her Belgian base in Grobbendonk.
The brand new combination is still getting to know one another.
"He is, so far, a sweet stallion," Rotem told Eurodressage. "I loved mostly his way of going and his attitude towards the rider and the training. He is super motivated and always in a good mood so far and sometimes a cheeky guy which i love. You can feel he tries his best so I can't really ask for more."
Rotem has been competing Hexagon's Double Dutch as her main competition horse and recently lost her second Grand Prix horse Glorieus to laminitis. Jupiler S is a new addition for FEI level showing.
"I'll take some time training and getting to know him before I take him out so for the moment I don't have any shows planned with him," she said. "l'l take it day by day."
