The Dutch Equestrian Federation (KNHS) announced the "KNHS Talent Team" per tradition at the CDI-W 's Hertogenbosch. Nine riders have been selected for the programme this year, coving dressage, show jumping, eventing and para dressage.
For the second year in a row, the group of dressage riders has diminished, going from five in 2022, to four in 2023, to three riders in 2024.
Marten Luiten and Thalia Rockx remain on the team from 2024, while Kimberly Pap and Febe van Zwambagt have been dropped. Their two spots have been taken by one rider, Robin Heiden. One spot has gone to a para dressage rider, Britney de Jong.
Riders on the KNHS Talent Team can be maximum 25 years of age and have been selected by the Dutch team trainers. Their submission to the Talent Team is a recognition of their achievements and potential for the future. Members on the talent team get financial support for extra training and coaching for their top sport career.
