In Germany the Bundeschampionate qualification season kicked off with a first show in Elmlohe on 13 April 2024. The 5-year old Voundation and the 6-year old Beck's became the winners.
In the 5-year old division Ann-Christin Wienkamp and Rhenania Pferde's Rhinelander gelding Voundation (by Vitalis x Fidertanz) topped the board with 8.82 points. He got 8.5 for walk, 8.6 for trot, and 9 for canter, submission and general impression. Maxi Kira von Platen and Helgstrand's Westfalian stallion Elastic (by Escolar x Dimaggio) were second with 8.80 points. The dark bay got 8 for walk, 8.8 for trot, 9.2 for canter and 9 for submission and general impression.
In the 6-year old class, WCYH finalists Thomas Schulze and Christian Thelker's Hanoverian stallion Beck's (by Benicio x Desperados) aced the class with 8.68 points. He got 9 for walk, 8.7 for trot, 8.4 for canter, 8.5 for submission and 8.8 for general impression. Schulze also grabbed second place on Christine Feichtinger's Hanoverian gelding Santanyi (by Secret x Rubin Royal) with 8.26 points. The dark bay got 8.3 for walk, 8.2 for trot, 8.5 for canter, 8 for submission and 8.3 for general impression.
