Deauville de Hus, Marine Soulet's international small tour horse, has been sold to India. He will continue his sport career under Indian Asian Games team rider Sudipti Hajela.

Deauville de Hus is an 11-year old French bred Oldenburg by Don Juan de Hus out of Davantage (by Don Frederico x ). He is bred by Xavier Marie.

Owned by the Favereau family, the chestnut made his show debut under Jean Marc Favereau at national level in 2018. In 2019 he placed fourth under Marine Soulet (aka Marine Subileau) at the French Young Horse Championships in the 6-year old division

Jean Marc and Deauville had their international debut in the 7-year old classes at the 2020 CDI Segovia. They won both the preliminary and finals test. In the autumn Jean Marc and Deauville won the 2020 French Championships for 7-Year Olds.

A year later it was Marine Soulet's turn again and she campaigned the horse in the international arena with two CDI starts in Le Mans at small tour level, first in October 2021 and lastly in April/May 2022. At the latter show they placed third in the Inter I kur. It was their last competition.

Soulet and Deauville competed at national medium tour level in 2023 and did their first Grand Prix in October in Le Mans.

The gelding has now been sold to 22-year old Indian Sudipti Hajela.

She made her international show debut as a junior rider in 2017 aboard the Brazilian owned Lusitano Zodiac dos Diamantes (by Distinto x Paragrafo do Top). In 2019 she once showed Retro Hit (by Royal Hit x Cardinar) at junior level at the CDI Companhia das Lezirias.

Two years later she showed in the Indian CDI's in Bangalore, and Delhi aboard the Westfalian Christy (by Christiano x Lamerto H).

Sudipti's career starting horse, however, was the 17-year old Chinski (by Tuschinski x Jazz). They began competing internationally in February 2022 at small tour level and showed at a string of CDI's in Jerez, Deauville, Crozet, Ludwigsburg, Le Mans, and Kronenberg.

With a spot on the Indian team for the 2023 Asian Games at stake, Hajela and Chinski went full throttle in 2023 and competed in Le Mans, Lier, Aachen, Redefin, Hagen, and Kronberg to be nominated on the Indian team. They won team gold at the 2023 Asian Games in Hangzhou, China, but got eliminated in the Intermediaire I.
