Austrian Horses Selected for 2024 World Young Horse Championships

The Austrian warmblood has announced the horses that will represent Austria at the 2024 World Championships for young dressage horses in Ermelo on 4 - 8 September 2024. 

The AWO held two selection trials: a first one in Stadl Paura on 21 - 22 May 2024 where Ulf Möller served as selector. The second one took place in Oisnitz on 16 - 17 July 2024.

The three selected Austrian horses are: 

5-year olds

  • Broadmoars Walerie (by Livaldon x Bailamos Biolley) - Rider: Sophia Reuß - Owner & Breeder: Broadmoar
    • rerserve: Rainhof’s Coer de Fleur (by Don Diamond x Floriscount) - Rider and Owner: Sandra Singer - Breeder: Karin u. Thomas Schalk

6-year olds

  • Beautiful Zambesi von der Aue (by Benicio x  Hotline) - Rider and Owner: Jacqueline Toniutti - Breeder: Ulrike Gasser
    • reserve: Finest Edition GMS (by Finest Selection x Weltmeyer) - Rider: Nicole Berghofer - Owner: Sabine Panis - Breeder: Ludwig Scheuringer

7-year olds

  • Broadmoars For Gold (by For Romance x Fürst Piccolo) - Rider: Nicola Baur-Rona - Owner: Stall Wetzlgut - Breeder: Broadmoar
