Bialy Kruk, Karola Mazurek's double Polish Young Horse Champion, has been sold to Mexico. He has been acquired as a 2028 L.A. Olympic hopeful.

Bialy Kruk, which means "white raven" in Polish, is a 2015 born Polish warmblood by Lenon L (by Dream On x Furst Piccolo) and out of Biala Dama (by Lord Alexander)

Home Bred

The stallion is home bred by Karola's father, Pawel Mazurek.

He has been trained by Karola up the levels and was highly decorated as a young horse. He won bronze at the 2019 Polish Young Horse Championships and double gold in 2020 and 2021 in the category of "Polish bred" horses.

The exceptionally coloured horse is now competing at small tour level and has his CDI debut in 2023 in Sopot, where he finished second in the Prix St Georges and third in the Inter I. He also showed at the CDI Bialy Las later that summer in one PSG test.

Mexico Bound

Mazurek  has now sold Biały Kruk as a Grand Prix prospect and 2028 L.A. Olympic hopeful for Mexican dressage rider Santiago Ortiz Díez.

Ortiz is setting himself up for his competitive future, having recently relocated to Piedra Grande Equestrian Clubhouse, a modern architectural yard in Huixquilucan in the mountains near Mexico City.

Marcos Santiago Ortiz Diez represented Mexico at the 2023 Central American and Caribbean Games. At the 2023 Pan American Games he finished 6th with the team with the 12-year old Lusitano Gentil (by Altivo x Pagode). He is a three-time consecutive Mexican champion.
