Ulrik Gerstorf Sørensen, former sport director at Blue Hors stud, has found a new job with the Danish Shooting Union.
He has been hired as their new "elite officer" succeeding Linda Andersson.
Ulrik Gerstorf Sørensen was Norwegian youth team trainer from 2005 till 2012 and Danish youth team trainer from 2013 till 2017. On 15 June 2017 Ulrik started working as sport director at Blue Hors stud until its closure in April 2024.
At the Danish Shooting Union, Sørensen will work closely with shooters, national coaches and volunteer leaders to ensure their long-term development and success.
"I am very happy to become part of the Danish Shooting Union (Skydesport Denmark) and look forward to working together with both shooters and national coaches. I am passionate about developing and promoting talent, and I do it with empathy and understanding of the athletes' needs. At the Danish Shooting Union, there is already a solid foundation that I can build on, and I am very much looking forward to getting started," Sørensen stated.
