The Canadian equestrian federation will be re-launching the Canadian National Dressage and Para Dressage Championships! in 2025.

EC announced the news not on their website, but via their mailing list.

National Championships in 2025

According to Canadian Dressage News, the "National Championships haven't taken place for many years so we are back to a "pilot" year in 2025."

Two Canadian venues have been selected to host regional divisions of the 2025 Championships

The Eastern Region riders will compete at the Complexe Equestre Becancour in Becancour, Quebec on 3 - 5 October 2025, while the Western Region riders will meet at Thunderbird Show Park in Langley, BC, on 10 - 12 October 2025.

To secure a spot in these Nationals, riders will qualify through Equestrian Canada Gold and Platinum competitions.

CDI Toronto is Back for 2024

This year's Royal Agricultural Winter Fair in Toronto will  include a CDI again.

This event used to be a staple on the Canadian international dressage calendar but lost its CDI status more than a decade ago, hosting its last CDI in 2011. Since then it has run a national show.

However the 2024 edition is marked as a CDI 3* and will happen on 4 - 5 November 2024. There will be a Grand Prix and Kur to Music class.
