German Under 25 rider Emma Lienert has added two new Grand Prix horses to her rank.
She recently welcomed Lisa Müller's Quantum Vis and her parents bought New Zealand Olympic horse Windermere J'Obei W.
Quantum Vis
Quantum Vis MW is a 15-year old gelding by Quaterback out of Granada (by Gloster x Pikör x Wendekreis). He is bred by Polish Maja Wieczorek.
Initially owned by the breeder, the bay was first trained and competed by Diederik van Silfhout. He got the horse in training as a 3-year old and produced him up to M-level with competition starts in 2016.
Then an 8-year old Quantum Vis made his show debut in Germany at small tour level under Matthias Bouten in 2017. The pair finished third in the 2017 Nurnberger Burgpokal Finals. Wieczorek moved Quantum Vis to Dorothee Schneider, who won the Louisdor Cup qualifier in Balve, but at the one in Gut Ising, Schneider was hospitalized overnight after a riding accident. Quantum Vis spooked and bolted when Dorothee mounted him. Quantum Vis was gelded shortly afterwards. At the 2019 Louisdor Cup Finals in Frankfurt, they were fourth.
In January 2021 Wieczorek moved Quantum Vis to Marcus Hermes and then sold him to Lisa Müller. The new pair made its Grand Prix debut in April 2021 at Gut Winkelacker and competed nationally through July 2022.
Müller has now given the ride on the dark bay gelding to Emma Lienert. Her coach Pawel Dabrowski premiered him on 19 October 2024 at a local show in Mönchengladbach. Emma rode the horse in the CHIO Aachen Campus training session with Isabell Werth. In their first show on 30 October they were second in the Prix St Georges with 70.675%.
Windermere J'Obei W
Only a few days ago the news became public that New Zealand's individual Olympic rider Melissa Galloway sold her Grand Prix Windermere J'Obei W to a German young rider.
Lienert confirmed that "Joey' is now in her barn as a future Under 25 ride. She trains him under the supervision of Jochen Bender.
The 21-year old has been competing internationally at Young Riders level with FS Las Vegas and Express and at Under 25 level with Intendro van de Nachtegaele and Dutchman. With two new Grand Prix horses in the barn, the young professional will have plenty to look forward to as she ages out of the Young Riders division in 2025.
"These are of course big footsteps to follow," Lienert told Eurodressage about the two new horses to her string, "but I‘m very very happy to have so many nice horses to ride now."
