Cathrine Dufour's Zimillione PT2 Sold to Danish Junior Rider

Zimillione PT2, Cathrine Dufour's Danish Young Horse Championships double medal winner, has been sold to a Danish junior rider.

Zimillione PT2 is a 7-year old Swedish warmblood by Gammelenggards Zappa and out of Furstinna (by Furst Nymphenburg x Lauries Crusador xx x Rotspon). She is bred by Per Trygg

Move to Denmark

The bay mare sold as a 3-year old to Danish Camilla Søndberg Thomasberg (née Andersen). She first competed the horse as a 5-year old in February 2022.

In April 2022 Cathrine Dufour bought Zimillione PT2 together with her business partners, the Zinglersen family. Dufour premiered the horse in June 2022 in the 5-year old test and then had an almost one-year break from competition.

She returned to the arena in April 2023 and was shown lightly through the summer. At the 2023 Danish Young Horse Championships they won silver in the 6-year old division.

In 2024 they were nominated to represent Sweden at the World Young Horse Championships in Ermelo but pulled out last minute and were substituted by the first reserve. Dufour did ride her in the 2024 Danish Young Horse Championships and got bronze in the 7-year old finals.

Sold to Danish Junior

Zimillione PT2 has now been sold to Majbritt Skovsager, mom of Danish junior rider Michella Chanel Skovsager.

"I’m very much looking forward to the future with this star," Michella posted on Instagram on 15 October. "After few times I already love her. I’m so grateful to take over the reins and I promise to take good care of her."

Michella made her international show debut in 2022 on ponies with HJK Catani (by Crazy Dynamic JK x Don't Worry). In 2023 she moved into the junior ranks with Blue Hors Zampalo (by Zack x Brentano II). In 2024 she added Danish young rider team horse Blue Hors Elliott (by Erlando x Romanov) to her ranks.
