U.S dressage sponsor Kylee Lourie and U.S. 2022 WEG team rider Katie Duerrhammer have welcomed a fourth Grand Prix horse in a short period of time at TyL Farm in Wellington, Florida.

Lilit joins Vividus QRE, L'Amour and Diamond Head, setting both Duerrhammer  and owner Lourie up for an exciting 2025 show season.

Lilit

Lilit is an 11-year old Slovakian bred warmblood by Jericho out of Legrace (by Aktion x Admirand). She is bred by Adam Kotyza and was registered as owned by Kamila Kotyzova.

In 2022 Kotyzova moved to The Netherlands for training and connected with Remy Bastings, who collaborates with Finnish Olympian Joanna Robinson. The latter has a base in Spain and Holland and Bastings produced Lilit to Grand Prix level at her yard.

Remy and Lilit made their international show debut at the 2023 CDI Beloura in Portugal, where they finished second twice in the medium tour. From there they went to the CDI Jerez de la Frontera in Spain and scored a triple win in the medium tour.  At the 2023 CDI Brno they bagged another double victory.

In 2024 the pair moved up to international Grand Prix level at the CDI Cascais, scoring in the mid sixties range. From there they went to the 2024 CDI Jerez de la Frontera to gain mileage at the level. That was Lilit's last international so far.

Wellington based Dutch horse dealer Micha Knol of MRK Dressage matched Lilit to Lourie. Knol mainly works with Christian Simonson's Monaco Sport Horses to select, import, and train horses for its buying program, but also sources quality dressage horses for private clients.

"Katie tried her out in Holland and a few weeks ago Lilit flew to America. She was just released from mare quarantine," Knol explained.

Katie is thrilled with Lilit who will be Kylee's horse and trained under her supervision. "The last few months have been exciting ones at TyL. Kylee and I have had the pleasure of welcoming four new wonderful horses to our TyL family.

Duerrhammer added, "Lilit and Diamond Head for Kylee herself to continue to pursue her own riding goals. I am excited to see her partnership with these two special horses develop and chase their dreams together."
