The German Equestrian Federation has announced the dressage youth squads for 2025 from pony to young riders' level.
Squad submission is essential for a horse-and-rider combination to be considered for team selection in the upcoming years. Squads are updated when the first results of the new year spring season have come in.
The children squad saw quite a shake-up with all five A-squad girls from 2024 no longer listed as they aged out. The pony A-squad expanded for 2025 from four to six listed at the end of the year. Also the junior squad grew considerably with pony now firmly declared as juniors. The young rider A-squad shrunk, though, and only has five pairs at the start of next year, while at the end of 2024 there were 7 pairs listed.
