German junior riders Feodora von Roeder and Eve Catherine Bartels have been on the move over the Christmas holidays, changing barns.

Feodora von Roeder

The 16-year old Feodora von Roeder was member of the German team that won team gold at the 2024 European Pony Championships in Opglabbeek. Aboard the 13-year old Rhinelander pony stallion Morgensterns Delicius (by FS Daddy Cool x The Breas My Mobilitiy) she finished 39th in the individual test with 66.027%.

Coached by Semmieke Rothenberger, Von Roeder has been competing the palomino internationally since 2021 and recorded no less than 10 CDI wins out of 27 starts in four years time.

In 2025 Fee has aged out of ponies and will make the transition to junior level. She has former Dutch junior team horse Hupadoeska PB (by Dancer x Jazz) to ride and is yet to make her show debut with the chestnut KWPN mare.

Von Roeder has moved to Hofgut Liederbach where she is training with Laura Ihring and Heinz Günther Scholten.

Eve Catherine Bartels

The 16-year old Eve Catherine Bartels made her international debut in 2022 in the Children division aboard Freispiel (by Feuerspiel x Dream of Glory). She represented Germany at the 2022 European Children Championship, where she won team gold. She placed 13th in the team test.

Bartels was initially trained by Thomas Wagner, but after the 2022 Preis der Besten turned to Heinz Günther Scholten for training.  She was then based Hofgut Rosenau, where she also worked with Anna Nolte.

At the start of 2024 the family acquired the successful Rhinelander stallion Villeneuve (by Vitalis x Dancier) and in March 2024 moved to Semmieke Rothenberger's Gestut Erlenhof as training base. The pair competed at CDI's  in Exloo, Aachen, and Dielsdorf.

Right at the beginning of 2025, Bartels has moved back to Hofgut Rosenau and will ride on her own. She will continue to be coached by Rothenberger, albeit "on a smaller scale."
