Glamourdale has been voted the KWPN Horse of the Year 2024. Be beat Indian Rock and Hermes by popular vote.

Glamourdale has already won many prizes with Charlotte Fry. The stallion of Van Olst Horses managed to win a nice majority of the votes and that makes him KWPN Dressage Horse of the Year 2024. The black has already received this title twice before and now this Olympic horse will be Horse of the Year for the third time.

A life full of success

The son of Lord Leatherdale (out of Thuja stb pref prest by Negro, breeder JW Rodenburg from Ouderkerk aan den IJssel) has built a life full of success, both in sports and in breeding. The champion of the 2014 KWPN Stallion Show won the World Championship for Young Dressage Horses for seven-year-olds in 2018, became world champion in 2022 and he won European Championship gold with the British team and individual silver in 2023 with 92.38%. This year, the KWPN stallion won Olympic bronze with 88.97% and won, among other things, the CHIO Aachen with over 80%.

Ceremony

The ceremony for the KWPN Dressage Horse of the Year will take place on the Friday evening of the 2025 KWPN Stallion Licensing in 's Hertogenbosch.

Traditionally, Friday is action packed for dressage lovers. In addition to the finals of the KWPN Stallion Competition Dressage, the new predicate stallions will be honored and impressive shows will be given by, among others, various stallion owners and the six seven-year-old World Championship horses.
