Bon Bolero was named the winner of the Main Premium award at the 2025 Oldenburg Stallion Licensing in Vechta on 19 January 2025.
Three stallions were in the running for the award: Bon Bolero, Fiji and V-Power. The award goes to the stallion with the highest points in the performance test combined with the best quality first crop of foals.
All three stallions were presented under saddle while licensing committee member Oliver Oelrich gave a public comment/lesson on how the stallions were moving. He did not refrain from telling the rider to put the nose more in front, let them be more open the throat latch, not seek to ride a passage like trot on a rising 5-year (V-Power).
Bon Bolero was ridden by Eike Bewerungen, Fiji by catch rider Hannah Laser and V-Power by Mette Sejbjerg Jensen.
