First owned by New Zealand's Michelle Grimes (2015), For Fun made his show debut in Germany under Reynolds in May 2017 at L-level. Judy produced the dark bay up the levels and competed him mainly in local shows in Sudlohn, Unna-Massen, Vreschen-Bokel, Hunxe and Borken. They did their first S-level test in the autumn of 2019
In 2020 the ownership changed to Reynolds and her husband Patrick Heavey. Judy and "Fritzi" tackled medium tour leve in February 2022 and their first Grand Prix test in April 2022 in Hamminkeln.
Irish Team Hopeful
Judy and For Fun took a 10-month break from CDI showing and returned in May 2024 in Exloo. She then continued to show him nationally. Their last start was in Ankum on 6 March 2025.
Switzerland
Reynolds was based with her business at Hinnemann's Krusterhof but recently moved to Hof Eiling in Heiden (GER).
For Fun has been sold as an Under 25 schoolmaster for Swiss young rider Emma Grandits.
In 2023 Emma debuted Quibelle (by Quaterback x Furst Heinrich) and rode her on the Swiss team at the 2023 European Junior Riders Championships in Kronberg, where they were 26th in the individual test. In December 2023 they moved up to Young Riders level. Emma rode her third, consecutive European Championships in St. Margarethen in 2024. They were 60th in the young riders individual test.
For Fun has now joined Grandits in Switzerland.
"We bought him as a schoolmaster," Emma told Eurodressage. "If it works out i would love to compete him in the U25 class."
