Timpe at Riedmühle
After having been based at her family yard "Reitanlage Am Balkhauserweg" in Velbert Nierenhof near Hattingen, Timpe made a big change in her life to move to central Germany and ride for an employer.
In the period that she worked for Ralph Uwe Westhoff she competed two of his horses internationally: small tour mare First Lady W (by Foundation x Breitling W) in two CDI's and stallion Bricco Barone (by Bertoli W x Cavan) in one CDI.
On national level Andrea enabled the show come back of Westhoff's Grand Prix horse Sankt Anton (by san Amour x Ruehmann) after a four year absence from the ring. He was previously ridden and lightly competed by Sanneke Rothenberger. Andrea also showed Ralph's Cuatro (by Cascadello x Contendro) at small tour level.
Home Bound
Timpe confirmed to Eurodressage that she's is leaving Riedmühle.
"I’m going back home to Hattingen on August 1st," said Andrea. "I’m really looking forward to going back home to my hometown and working independently again."
Riedmühle has not yet found a replacement for her. Previous riders Westhoff housed were Hendrik Lochthowe, Eyal Zlatin, and Marc-Peter Fritz. They also collaborated with the Rothenberger family and co-own Cosmo.
