Bundeschampionate Finalist Flimmerglimmer Moves to German Junior Rider

Flimmerglimmer, a 2024 and 2025 Bundeschampionate finalist, will continue his sport career as a ride for German junior rider Lotta Beckmanns.

Flimmerglimmer is a 7-year old Oldenburg gelding by Furstenball out of Pailola SG (by Sandro Hit x Rohdiamant). He is bred by Silke Gethmann and sold as a newborn foal to Marcus Beckmanns

Bundeschampionate Finalist

Flimmerglimmer was trained and competed by German based Belgian Under 25 rider Sophie Jamar.

Jamar debuted the horse in June 2023 in Langeneld at L-level and gave the horse mileage at local shows in her area. In 2024 the pair stepped it up and travelled to the Bundeschampionate qualifier in Langefeld, making it to Warendorf where they won the 6-year old consolation final and finished 9th in the Finals.

In 2025 the pair moved up to S-level and was selected for the second German WCYH team selection trial until the FEI age limit stopped them in their tracks. They returned to the Bundeschampionate in Warendorf, where they were 5th in the Finals with 76.736%.

Young Riders Horse

Flimmerglimmer will now continue his career under Lotta Beckmanns.

The 18-year old Munich based Beckmanns began her international dressage career on ponies, competing in CDI's from December 2022 till December 2023 aboard Grenzehohes Dragon Kiss. With the 13-year old Oldenburg Zarafin (by Zonik x Rosario) she showed at one CDI at junior level in Gössendorf in April 2023.

Since 2024 Beckmanns has only showed at national level. 2025 was her last year as a junior rider and Lotta is preparing for the transition to Young Riders level. She has been showing Zarafin at small tour level since the spring of this year.
