Imposant MC, the Grand Prix horse that was competed internationally by Ann-Christin Wienkamp, has been sold to Poland.

Imposant MC is a 12-year old KWPN gelding by Bretton Woods out of Uvera (by Jetset-D x Zeoliet). He is bred by M. van de Spek in The Netherlands.

Grand Prix Dream Maker

Imposant MC was scouted as a young horse by Anna Polera's SportWarmbloods, a company offering a turn-key horse sales service for finding high quality dressage and hunter horses for the international market.

His young horse years he spent in the U.S.A. getting trained and competed by Nicole Levy. In 2021 they made their international show debut at medium tour in Wellington, placing third twice. In 2022 she rode him to victory in the developing Grand Prix horse classes at the Global Dressage Festival.

In 2024 Imposant MC returned "home" to Europe and moved into training with Diederik van Silfhout. He continued to be a winning machine as Van Silfhout won and Intermediaire II with him in The Netherlands, before German Ann-Christin Wienkamp took over the ride.  The new pair won the 2024 Westfalian Championships scoring 70,789% and 71,667% in the two rounds.

In October 2024 the dark bay gelding made Wienkamp's dream come true by being the first horse the professional has ridden in an international Grand Prix class. At the CDI Motesice in Slovakia they won the 3* Grand Prix with 69,783 % and the Special with 68,979%. Last April the pair scored 72.588% and 73.467% to win both Grand Prix classes at the CDN Aachen Campus.

Polish GP Hopeful

Polera has now sold Imposant MC to Polish Weronika Madej-Czerniec, who recently became the 2025 Polish reserve small tour champion

The 32-year old Warsaw based Weronika Madej-Czerniec began her international dressage career aboard the Hanoverian mare Valeur PP (by Vitalis x Benicio) in 2022, riding her in the young horse classes at CDI's in Brno, Bialy Las and Pilisjaszfalu. Two weeks ago the pair made its CDI small tour debut in Bialy Las, where they also won the silver medal at the Polish Dressage Championships at small tour level.

Imposant MC will be her Grand Prix schoolmaster and hopeful for the 2026 World Championships in Aachen.

"I'm very proud of being able to match Imposant to Weronika," said previous owner Anna Polera. "He's such a lovely, talented horse and both can be a valuable asset to Polish dressage sport. It's nice to see this horse strengthening the foundation of quality sport horses for top level in Poland. This is also what we aim for with our company: high quality horses matched to the right riders, meeting their goals and ambitions, all over the world."
