Austrian Grand Prix rider Diana Porsche gave birth to her first baby, a boy. "On October 17th at 9:17 PM, the world stood still for a moment. Our son and greatest joy, Leonardo, entered the world. We are all healthy and endlessly grateful for this little miracle. Welcome to life, little one." Father of Leonardo is Diana's husband, Philipp Stadlmann, whom she first met in 2017 and married on 23 June 2023.
Japanese small tour rider Maria Takada and rider Takafumi Iwase celebrated their wedding on 4 October 2025 with a special ceremony and party at Yogibo Versailles Resort Farm. The pair knew each other from high school but re-connected 14 years later on a commercial photo shoot and fell in love. The couple had their civil union on 28 December 2024 and held their big wedding in October 2025. Takada competed in Europe between 2018 and 2021 aboard Britania (by Beluga x Radjah Z). This mare also took her to the 2023 Asian Games in Hangzhou (CHN), where they finished 14th in the Kur finals.
The internationally competed FEI dressage pony Altrido Olet’s Koss has been sold to Korea. The 10-year old Dutch New Forest Pony (by Hattrick Voque x Priory Prickle) was shown by Czech Barbora Krejcirova from 2023 till April 2024. They competed at the 2023 European Pony Championships in Le Mans, where they were 47th in the individual test with 63.892%. The pair also twice won the Czech national championships at two different pony levels. Altrido Olet's Koss will now continue as a schoolmaster for 11-year-old Kim Sarang in Korea.

Australian equestrian photographer Michelle Terlato passed away unexpectedly on 11 October 2025. Michelle was active photographing all horse sport disciplines in Australia and across borders. She worked the 2022 World Championships and 2024 Paris Olympic Games and was a considered a friend and comrade to many professionals. Based in Coolum Beach, Queensland, Michelle leaves behind her parents Lynne and Tony, devoted husband Joe and their two children, Ash and Max.
Israeli dressage rider Sarah Bamberger has split from her long-time trainers, Tineke and Imke Bartels, and relocated north in The Netherlands. She has moved her horses Fürsten Line (by Fürsten-Look x Hotline) and Imposant (by Everdale x Contango) to Resim Dressage in Harskamp, The Netherlands, where she trains with judge and rider Joyce Heuitink.

Scot Tolman has sold his 15-year old Gelderlander licensed stallion Floris (by Negro x Elegant x Zicham) to Christina Ditullio of Misty Meadows Equestrian for Emily Emond to ride. The chestnut Floris BS was bred by B. van der Veen and Sophie ter Brugge and Corien Yspeerd competed him up to small tour level in Holland. In 2020 the stallion sold for 65,000 euro in the Excellent Dressage Sales. In March 2022 he sold again to American breeder and stallion keeper Scot Tolman as his own ride. The stallion never competed in the U.S.
Mary Hanna's 2028 L.A. Olympic Hopeful Sam has been sold to Malaysia. The 12-year old Oldenburg bred gelding (by Sezuan x Licotus) was first competed by Madita Zurheide, Sascha Schulz and Stefan Wieser before he moved to Patrik Kittel's yard and became Malin Nilsson's ride. They sold the horse to Australian Olympian Mary Hanna, but she never competed him. Malin continued to ride the horse and show him through June 2025. In the late summer this year Dennis Fisker brokered the horse to his Malaysian client Lee Cheng Ni Diana and Sam is now in Denmark.
German born Australian Alexandra Vodermair has not returned to Australia after representing her new country at the 2025 World Young Horse Championships in Verden. Alex has accepted a job riding for Yara Reichert in Germany. "It was always the plan to stay at least for one year," Alex told Eurodressage. "As flying with an horse around the world is not a cheap exercise, I was also planning to get a job over here after the World champs. Now I’m at Yara’s place where I’m very happy. She has a very exciting team of horses for me." Vodermair is aiming to return to Verden for the 2026 WCYH with Exact.
