Twenty-two dressage riders have been entered to compete at the 2025 FEI Asian Championships to be held at the Thai Polo and equestrian club in Pattaya, Thailand on 24 - 29 November 2025.

This is only the second edition ever of the "FEI Asian Championships," which were first held in 2019, also in Pattaya. The 2025 edition is scheduled to host 5 disciplines including dressage, para dressage, jumping, eventing and endurance.

The ground jury  consists of Isobel Wessels (GBR) as president, Elke Ebert (GER), Vittorio Barba (PHI), Anne Prain (FRA), and Sunil Shivdas (IND). The Asian Championships are held at small tour level.

Asian Championships - South East Asian Games - Asian Games

Eight countries are fielding 22 riders in total with the overall attendance marred by the almost-clash of dates with the 2025 South East Asian Games which are taking place at exactly the same venue two weeks later,  on 9 - 20 December 2025. Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand are fielding riders to the SEA Games.

The FEI Asian Championships were intended to take place every four years and should have taken place in 2023 but due to the postponement of the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games to 2023, the Asian Championships were rescheduled two years later.

Not the FEI Championships but the "Asian Games" are Asia's biggest and most important championships for horse sport. The 2026 Asian Games will take place in  Aichi Nagoya, Japan, on 20 - 24 September 2026.
