
The FEI has announced the ground jury for the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi Nagoya, Japan, on 20 - 24 September 2026.
The Asian Games will be held for the 20th time and follow a 4-year cycle like the Olympics.
They are the most important equestrian event on the Asian continent. Equestrian sports made its debut at the Asian Games in 1982 in New Delhi, where the team and individual Eventing and individual Jumping categories were introduced. Team Jumping and team and individual Dressage were added to the lineup at the succeeding 1986 Asian Games in Seoul.
The Asian Games in Nagoya will be the 20th edition.
The ground jury for the 2026 Asian Games includes:
- Hans-Christian Matthiesen (DEN) - president
- Sunil Shivdas (IND)
- Vic Barba (PHI)
- Ricky MacMillan (AUS)
- Helen Hughes-Keen (NZL)
No reserve judge has been named yet.
Carlos Lopes (POR) will serve as foreign technical delegate, Alice Mak (HGK) is the chief steward for dressage.
