Olympic champion Jessica von Bredow-Werndl has withdrawn her rising GP horse Got It BB from competing in the 2025 Louisdor Cup Finals in Frankfurt.
The Louisdor Cup Finals are Germany's Developing Grand Prix Horse Championships. They are open to riders from all nations who are have a German competition licence. Horses can be aged between 8 and 10. The 2025 Louisdor Cup season kicked off in Hagen, followed by qualifiers in Hamburg, Wiesbaden, Donzdorf, and Guxhagen. The top two placed pairs of each qualifier is eligible to compete in the Finals.
Sourced in Denmark
Werndl's Got It BB is a 10-year old Danish warmblood stallion by Grand Galaxy Win out of Cathrine Rasmussen's Grand Prix mare Dream Time (by Don Schufro x Leandro). He is bred by Morten Thomsen.
As a 3-year old Got It was licensed at the 2018 Danish Warmblood Stallion Licensing in Herning, co-owned by Thomsen and Helgstrand Dressage. He was the second best scoring stallion in the 2018 DWB Stallion Performance Test, finishing with 858 points. He competed twice in Denmark under Mette Sejbjerg Jensen who qualified him for the 2019 Danish Young Horse Championship but did not ride the championship.
He sold to Aubenhausen in the autumn of 2020 and Beatrice Burchler-Keller later became listed as his full owner. He was trained to Grand Prix level by Von Bredow-Werndl, who lightly competed him in 2021 and 2022. In 2023 she rode more shows with him, including the Munich Nurnberger Burgpokal qualifier as well as the first medium tour tests at regional shows. In the Olympic year of 2024 he did only three shows at Inter II level, but in 2025 they got more miles in at big tour level and tackled the Louisdor Cup circuit in Hagen and grabbed their ticket to Frankfurt by winning Donzdorf with 74.085%.
Jessica confirmed to Eurodressage that she has withdrawn Got It BB from Frankfurt as the team has drawn new plans for the horse's future.
Substitute
Her vacant slot will now be filled by Lena Hassmann aboard Gisa Löwe's 8-year old Oldenburg mare Chere Celine OLD (by Governor x San Amour x Furst Heinrich). The pair rode the Louisdor Cup qualifiers in Wiesbaden (69.851%) and Guxhagen (71.702%).
"She will be the youngest in the starters' field for the finals," Hassmann took to Instagram. "And she has never done the long Grand Prix test. Frankfurt will be the premiere."
