The dark bay gelding Dupont became the best seller of the 2025 Oldenburg Special Edition winter auction in Vechta on 7 December 2025.
A collection of 30 horses was selected and 24 ended up going under the hammer.
Dupont (by Dynamic Dream x Fidertanz x Sandro) was the price highlight, selling for 40,000 euro to German Alina Emke. The horse is bred and was owned by Swiss Ellen Johanna Slegers.
The second most expensive horse in the lot was jumper Drama (by Dominator Z x Cornado), going for 37,000 euro.
Pony Don Papa WE (by Kastanienhof Donnertrommler x Can Dance) moves to Spain for 36,000 euro, while French Grand Prix rider Charlotte Chalvignac Vesin purchaqed the 5-year old mare Francesca (by Furst Toto x Zatchmo) for 28,000 euro.
Almost half the collection sold to clients abroad.
Schufro de Iniesta (by Sezuan's Donnerhall x Don Gregory) had a Dutch buyer at 16,000 euro. Vicci (by Viconte x Sir Oldenburg) goes to Switzerland for 15, 000 € and is joined by Mareja (by Fifty Cent x De Niro) for 10,500 euro.
Spaniards secured Danny de Vito (by Dancier x Furst Romancier) for 12,500 euro and South-West Jimilian (by Jovian x De Niro) for 11,000 euro. Glamourdance (by Glamourdale x Fidertanz) found a new home in the U.K. for 8,500 euro.
The average price for a horse in this auction was 19,563 euro.
