Grey Tonic PS, High Scorer of 2025 Verden Shortened Suitability Test

Grey Tonic PS became the high scoring stallion in the shortened suitability test which took place in Verden on 16 - 18 December 2025.

Eighteen horses participated and one  (Forever Rockstar) dropped out.

The Oldenburg stallion Grey Tonic PS (by Grey Flanell x Zonik) had the highest score in the group: 8.83 points. The black stallion got  8 for walk, 8.8 for trot, 9.2 for canter, 9 for rideability and 9.3 for willingness to work. The stallion is bred by Paul Schockemöhle and purchased by Judith Koeppel for 276,000 euro in the 2024 Paul Schockemöhle online auction of 2.5 year old colts. He was ridden in Verden by Sina Aringer and stallion handler Pascal Kandziora was listed as the presenter of the horse.

A close second was San Valentino, a Westfalian by Secret Game x  Rock Forever), He scored 8,74 points in total with 9 for walk, 8.5 for trot and canter, 8.8 for rideability and 9 for willingness to work. He is owned by the Schwaiganger state stud and bred by Robert Drenker.

Annabel Moreau's Oldenburg Zentinel (by Zuperman x Royal Classic) landed third place with 8.44 points with 8.5 for walk, 7.7 for trot, 8.4 for canter and 8.8 for rideability and willingness.

Right behind him was the Austrian owned, DSP Licensing champion Bonds in Gold (by Bonds x Goldberg) with 8.43 points. He got 8 for walk, 8.3 for trot, 8.6 for canter, 8.5 for rideability and 9 for willingness. Bonds in Gold was acquired by Astrid Neumayer for  770,000 euro at the DSP licensing auction.

One more stallion scored an overall of 8.0 or more and that was Vitalamour (by Vitalis x Apache). He totalled 8.08 points. He was a premium colt at the 224 Hanoverian Licensing, where he sold for 480,000 euro to Klosterhof Medingen and French investors Annabel Moreau/Claudia Chauchard.
