The premiere of the Oldenburg Stallion Show on March 8, 2026, starting at 2:00 p.m. at the Oldenburg Horse Center in Vechta, already promises to be an absolute highlight that will make breeders' hearts beat faster.
Around 20 renowned stallion stations and state studs will present their jumping and dressage-oriented sires as well as promising pony stallions – an impressive cross-section of current bloodlines, sporting successes, and promising prospects.
A Day Full of Glamour, Excitement, and High Expectations
The high-caliber lot is already generating excited anticipation: The 1c main premium winner Fiji, the celebrated winner stallion of the DSP Stallion Days 2025 Bonds in Gold, DSP Champion Boccacio, and the winner of the Vechta Short VA and 1b main premium winner Dynamic Pur are expected, as is HLP Reserve Champion Bonfilio.
The vice world champion of seven-year-old dressage horses, Most Wanted Nero von Bellin, will be making a particularly impressive appearance. Everglow Gold, licensed in the Netherlands, and Benjamin Franklin, silver medalist at the Bundeschampionat for four-year-old riding horses, will also be making an appearance. The audience can also look forward to seeing the premium stallion from his Redefiner licensing, Grey Tonic, the 2021 main premium winner Total McLaren, Royal Dynamic, licensed in Ermelo in 2024, and the premium stallion Donkey Boss.
Proven legendary sires such as elite stallion and team bronze medal winner Franziskus, Oldenburg Future Sire with more than 30 licensed offspring Ibiza, and multiple Grand Prix winner, Olympic and World Championship participant Destano are expected to attend, adding extra glamour to the event.
There are also some illustrious names from the show jumping camp to report. World Championship and Global Champions Tour participant Jaguar vd Berghoeve, the silver medalist at the German Championships, Casallco, and Limoncello NT, who has been successful up to 1.60 m, will also travel to the Oldenburg Horse Center in Vechta and impress with their potential, as will Chalou, the 1d premium stallion from the 2024 OS licensing, and Revanzs, who has already been successful up to 1.35 m.
Two top-class pony stallions round off the diverse lot: Stenderups Olympic, the 2023 licensing winner from Neumünster and HLP high-flyer with a dream score of 9.49, and Riehenhofs Chester WE, the Welsh B winner stallion of the Vechta licensing.

Even before the stallion show begins, the Oldenburg Horse Center invites you to an atmospheric morning pint in the stable aisle from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. In a relaxed atmosphere, visitors will have the opportunity to experience the stallions up close, gather impressions, and exchange ideas in personal conversations with breeders and station representatives – a perfect start to a day full of inspiration.
