Reiterjournal reported that Timo Kemmerer's international Grand Prix horse FBW Dantes Zazou has been sold to Switzerland. The black moved into training with Bianca Nowag.
Dantes Zazou is a 12-year old Baden Wurttemberger gelding by Dante Weltino out of Florence (by Florencio x Argentinus). He is bred by ZG Day / Kemmerer.
Home Bred
The home bred horse is the first international Grand Prix horse for 40-year old professional Kemmerer.
Timo started the mare and first competed her as a 4-year old in 2018. They did their first S* test in August 2021 and moved up to Inter II level in the spring of 2023. They competed mainly in the south west of Germany over the years.
This year the pair competed in the Louisdor Cup qualifier in Donzdorf, where they were second and qualified for the 2024 Finals in Frankfurt in December. He also won the big tour at the CDN Marbach in August.
CDI Career
Their international show debut was in the CDI 3* in Hagen in September, where they scored 66.696% ion the Grand Prix and 66.893% in the Special. They train with Oliver Luze.
As best scoring pair from Baden Wurttemberger they obtained a starting place for the 2024 CDI 4* in Stuttgart, where they were 9th in the Grand Prix (66.652%) and 10th in the Special (64.553%). At the end of the show, Zazou developed a colic and was successfully operated on.
The pair returned to international competition in May 2025 in Mannheim and also showed in Deauville. Their last CDI Start was in November 2025 in Stuttgart to mixed results.
Sold
In December 2025 Kemmerer advertised FBW Dantes Zazou for sale on Eurodresssage's Equimarket. Reiterjournal reported that the Swiss Gasser family of Gestut Schönweide acquired the horse for Bianca Nowag to ride.
Nowag began training horses for Schönweide when their in-house head rider Ann Kathrin Lachemann got sidelined after a fall off a horse. Recently Lachemann decided to leave the stud farm. Bianca has now welcomed another Grand Prix horse to her fold after seeing her big tour horses Quelito and Florine OLD sold.
