US Equestrian announced the combinations selected to represent the U.S. Dressage Team at the FEI Nations Cup competition at the CDIO3* Wellington, FL on March 18-21, 2026.
This will be the first team outing of the 2026 competition season for the U.S. Dressage Team who will be led by Chef d’Equipe Christine Traurig and Team Leader Laura Roberts.
Team U.S.A. will include
- Meagan Davis (Loxahatchee, Fla.) and Toronto Lightfoot, a 2013 Oldenburg gelding (Totilas out of Okima Lightfoot), owned by Scott Durkin
- Ben Ebeling (Wellington, Fla.) and Bellena, a 2010 Hanoverian mare (Belissimo Mout of Wellfair), owned by Vantage Equestrian Group II
- Kevin Kohmann (Wellington, Fla.) and Dunensee, a 2009 Hanoverian gelding (Dancier out of Doublette), owned by Diamante Farms
- Jordan LaPlaca (Ledyard, Conn.) and Gold Play, his own 2015 Oldenburg gelding (Grey Flannell out of Shangra La)
There will also be an Under 25 Nations' Cup held at this CDIO. U.S.A is fielding the following team of four:
- Alicia Berger (Wellington, Fla.) and Aqua Marin, her own 2011 Oldenburg gelding (Ampere x Stedinger Heide)
- Allison Nemeth (Flemington, N.J.) and Leviathan, her own 2016 KWPN gelding (Desperado x Hester)
- Sophia Schults (Ocala, Fla.) and Conocido HGF, her own 2012 PRE gelding (Cosaco XI x Luz de Luna HGF) - pictured
The FEI Dressage Nations Cup™ USA CDIO3* will begin on Thursday, March 19, with the FEI Grand Prix team competition to determine team medals and the FEI Intermediate II for the CDIOU25 competition. The CDIO3* will continue with team competition in the FEI Grand Prix Freestyle on Friday, March 20. On Saturday, March 21, the CDIO3* competition will conclude with the FEI Grand Prix Special, followed by the CDIOU25 Grand Prix 16-25. The weekend wraps up on Sunday, March 22 with the conclusion of CDIOU25 competition in the Grand Prix Freestyle.
