The Korean equestrian federation is the first to announce its team for the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi–Nagoya, Japan.

Equestrian sport at the Asian Games will take place in the Baji Koen equestrian center in Tokyo where the 2021 Olympics took place.

Mixed Teams

For the first time dressage sport at the Asian Games will not be exclusively contested at small tour level but mixed teams of small and big tour combinations

Teams must be composed of at least 1 (one) Small Tour Athlete-Horse combination and up to 2 (two) Big Tour Athlete-Horse combinations. It is also permitted to enter a team with three or four Small Tour Athlete-Horse combinations.

This decision was made a year ago and has put several developing dressage nations in a pickle due to the lack of Grand Prix combinations. The MER for the big and small tour is 2 x 62% scores at CDi's between 1 January 2025 and 22 June 2026.

Athlete-Horse combinations that have participated at the FEI World Cup Finals, World Championship, or the Olympic Games are not eligible to participate in the 2026 Asian Games at the Small tour level

Korean Team

Korea adapted and has now selected its team. It includes
