Camilla Lunderskov Sells Donnerhall's Son II to the U.K.

Danish Grand Prix rider Camilla Lunderskov has sold her international Grand Prix horse Donnerhall's Son II to the U.K.

Donnerhall's Son II is a 13-year old Danish warmblood gelding by Sir Donnerhall II out of Kaitie (by UNO Don Diego x ). He is bred by Sonny Sandfeld Moisen.

The chestnut was first competed in Denmark by Bjarne Brandt in 2018 at LA level before Camilla Lunderskov purchased him in 2019. 

"If anyone had said back then that the little red horse with the striking front legs would one day lead me all the way to the Grand Prix, In the top 3 at several international events, medals at the Nordic Championship and a ranking number. 112 on the world rankings, I'd probably just smiled," said Camilla.

The new combination debuted nationally in October 2020 at MB level and moved to small tour level in 2022. they stayed at small tour level through 2023 and tackled their first Intermediaire II test in June 2024. They rode their first national Grand Prix in February 2025.

The pair's international debut was straight away at the 2025 Nordic Baltic Championships in Ypaja, Finland, winning team gold and finishing second in the kur to music  In 2025 they rode at two more CDi's in Neustadt/Dosse and Vihelmsborg. In 2026 they went to the CDI's in Herning and Aalborg, scoring 69.130% and 68.326% in the Grand Prix. The pair has trained with Rune Willum from the start.

Lunderskov has now decided to sell her "Timon". She announced on Instagram that he found a new home in the U.K with Jonathan Dunkley. Cathrine Dufour brokered the deal.

"Timon has carried me through dreams, joy, victories and moments I/we never thought I/we would experience," said Camilla.
