Vancouver Lady, Top Seller of the 2026 Hanoverian WCYH Foal and Horse Auction

Vancouver Lady became the top selling horse at the 2026 Hanoverian Foal and Horse Auction held during the World Young Horse Championships in Verden on Saturday 8 August 2026.

 A collection of 18 riding horses and foals came up for auction after the 6-year old finals on Saturday late afternoon. The average price for a riding horse was  138,714 euro and for a foal 24,727 euro.

The 4-year old chestnut State premium mare Vancouver Lady (by Vitalis x Sir Donnerhall) sold to Sweden for 300,000 euro. She is bred by  Günther Blöthe.

The 180 m tall Salvador d'Amour (by Secret x For Dance), bred by Eggerking, Brinkum and owned by Heinrich Gießelmann, sold for 175,000 euro. 

Framington (by Franklin x Romanov) went for 150,000 euro, Lily of the Valley (by Livaldon x Furstenball) for 102,000 euro. The 3-year old Bertha Ballantines (by Bon Vivaldi x Vitalis) sold for 102,000 euro.

Salvador D'Amour
Americans bought Silent Legacy (by Secret x Millennium) for 72,000 euro, while Designer (by D'Egalité x Duke of Oldenburg) went for 70,000 euro.

The most expensive foal was Vermentino (by Va Bene x Quaterback). Bred by Marion Menck, the chestnut colt  sold for 44,000 euro.

An American. bought Viva Dodona (by Viva Vitalis x Belissimo M) for 40,000 euro. Elena Starr secured Santos M (by Seacrest x Vitalis) for 40,000 euro. For Luise (by Federer x Dante's Junior) went for 36,000 euro, Glurak TR (by Global Amour x Despacito) for 28,000 euro. Donna Daan (by Daan G x Totilas) found a new owner for 22,000 euro.
