Norwegian Grand Prix rider has decided on her new base to operate from after the termination of her collaboration with Paul Schockemöhle. She will base herself at Martin Determann’s stallion station.
The move will happen early December of this year
“Martin’s facility offers ideal stabling and training conditions for horses in training and for sale. And, of course, for stud stallions as well. I’ll be joined by my longtime groom, Christin Geske, and my students, the two up-and-coming riders Martha Raupach and Paul Jöbstl,” said Isabel with gratitude. “It’s just great to be able to tackle these new tasks and challenges with such a well-coordinated team."
The 47-year old Freese has been based in Germany for more than two decades. She was first based at Roger Seegert's yard, before relocating to Holga Finken's stable, before moving to Gestut Bonhomme in July 2013. In September 2014 she moved to Schockemöhle, where she had been based every since.
Isabel celebrated major successes in the international dressage arena aboard the horses that Paul owns together with Danish Lone Boegh Henriksen. Aboard Vitalis she won the Nurnberger Burgpokal in 2016 and on the Oldenburg stallion Total Hope (by Totilas out of Weihegold) she competed at Olympic Games, World Championships and European Championships.
Her future with Total Hope is still being worked at.
