Belgian Grand Prix rider Larissa Pauluis has been officially elected as the next Athlete Representative on the FEI Dressage Committee. Pauluis will begin her four-year term in 2027.

She succeeds Yvonne Losos de Muniz (DOM).

The 46-year old Pauluis was put forward by the International Dressage Riders Club (IDRC) as their preferred candidate for the position of Athlete Representative. Larissa is ranked 14th on the FEI World Riders Ranking thanks to her scores with Grand Prix horse Flambeau (by Ampere x Zeoliet).

"I am deeply honoured by the trust that has been placed in me," Pauluis said about her appointment. "In this new role, I look forward to listening to dressage athletes and representing their interests with commitment, openness and kindness."

Larissa added, "I also believe that our sport should continue to evolve while preserving everything that makes it so special: sporting excellence, the art of dressage, the welfare of the horse, and respect for everyone who contributes to our discipline."

Pauluis' election will put two Belgians on the FEI Dressage Committee, alongside Thomas Eyckmans who is a representative for the show organisers. He has one more year to go until the end of 2027. The FEI Dressage Committee is chaired by Diana al Shaer (PLE), with Monica Theodorescu (GER) as deputy chair alongside committee members Peter Storr (GBR) and outgoing Frederico Pinteus (POR), whose position is up for re-election on 2 November 2026.
