Oldenburg Stallion, AES Licensed
Mister U.S. was a 2017 born Oldenburg stallion by Grey Flanell out of Sondra (by Sir Donnerhall x Don Schufro). He was bred by Paul Schockemohle.
He was bred out of one of Schockemöhle's most succesful dressage mare Sondra, of which more than 22 offspring (because of embryotransfer) are publicly known. She produced Grand Prix horses Total U.S., Zantana, Dante U.S., Gossip Girl and Zaid.
Owned by Schockemöhle, Joop van Uytert and Edward Gal, the black stallion Mister U.S. was AES licensed. Hewas presented at the 2020 KWPN Saddle Licensing but not accepted.
Minderhoud rode his very first show on Mister U.S. in January 2026. he posted a 69% in the Intermediaire II at the CDN Deurne. The pair did its first and only CDI in Exloo in May 2026 and scored 66.761% in the Grand Prix and 67.638% in the Special. The pair was 19th at the 2026 Dutch Grand Prix Championships
Early Passing
Unfortunately one month ago Mister U.S. developed complications after being gelded and despite all veterinary effort could not be saved. He had to be put to sleep.
For the Dutch Olympian Mister U.S' passing is a major set back as he was back building up his string of horses after the sponsorship with Glock ended. Minderhoud has World Young Horse Champion My Toto (by Toto Jr x Voice) as Grand Prix horse to ride, alongside small tour Nero (by Ferguson x Totilas) amongst others.
