Thirty-nine candidates presented themselves for the seventeenth "Hengstenleistungprufung", or 30-Day Stallion Test, for Ponies in Munster, Germany.
The 39 participants were divided into two groups of which the smallest group was covered by five Fjord ponies, two Lewitzers and one Knabstrupper. The largest group of 31 pony stallions was occupied by 24 German Riding Ponies, 4 Connomara's, one Welsh-B, one New Forest and one Pinto stallion.
Champion of the 30 day Stallion Test was the 5 year old Keep Cool by Kastellano. Keep Cool already won the 5 year old Dressage Pony Stallion Champion Class under Julia Katharina von Platen at the 1999 German Federal Championships. Keep Cool is bred by Charlotte Friedrich and owned by Dirk Viebrock from Harsefeld.
Reserve Champion in Munster was Danny Gold by Dornick B and De Vito by Dressmann I out of St. Pr. St. Kaprice, who also sired the champion of the 1997 30 Day Stallion Test, Top Yellow. De Vito B is bred and owned by Johan Hinnemann. The sires of De Vito and Danny Gold were both multiple Federal Championship winners in dressage.
