2009 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses
Today, the final selection trial and training session took place for Dutch horses in the running to compete at the 2009 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Verden, Germany, August 5 - 9, 2009.
Four selection trials took place in The Netherlands and a long list consisting of KWPN bred horses was eventually reduced to a final six horses per age division which will represent The Netherlands in Verden.

5-year olds

- Robin Beekink - Zaragossa

- Reserve 1: Annarein Kerbert staat - Zolena
- Reserve 2: Lynne Maas - Zamora
- Reserve 3: Karin van Dijk-Euser - Zarava
6-year olds
- Emmelie Scholtens - Westenwind
- Annemieke Vincourt - Kansas C
- Dieuwertje van Donselaar - TC Wanted
- Patrick van der Meer - Karolus van Wittenstein
- Emmelie Scholtens - Westpoint
- Madeleine Witte-Vrees - Wynton
- Reserve 1: Roger Schulkens - Wortila
- Reserve 2: Christa Laarakkers - Wolly Ann
