The Brightwells Addington Elite Dressage Sales select high quality Dressage prospects throughout Europe for the ever popular and successful sales held at the Addington Manor Equestrian Centre in Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom, on Saturday 22 August 2015.
The 2015 Summer Collection is of a particular high standard, all horses have undergone X-ray examination and will be vetted at Addington on the days prior to the sale.
X-rays can be forwarded to your Veterinary Surgeon up to two days prior to the auction and horses can be tried by arrangement at their current locations before travelling to the UK for the Sale. With further Trial Rides available at Addington on Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd August.

Auction Horse In The Spotlight: Lot 21 Don Daxau
2008 Licensed Oldenburg Stallion by Diamond Hit – Sandro Hit – Hohenstein
Here is an opportunity to purchase a stunning licensed stallion, approved for Oldenburg, Rhineland, Westphalia and all Southern German Verbands. Don Daxau was one of the top colts at the Oldenburg Elite Foal Auction in Vechta. In 2010 he was licensed by the Oldenburg Verband and gained 2nd Reserve Champion. The sire Diamond Hit won silver at the 2001 Bundeschampionat. In 2002 he again won silver at the WC and the Bundeschampionat in the class for 5yos. Under the British team Vice European Champion, Emma Hindle, Diamond Hit went on to place in international Grand Prix dressage. Through the popular dam's sire, Sandro Hit, Don Daxau's pedigree has a highly interesting inbreeding component: his sire Diamond Hit and Sandro Hit are half-brothers. In the third generation you find the Trakehner Elite Stallion and Stallion of the Year, Hohenstein. The proved dam line of Schatznorne is the origin of further licensed stallions such as Sakrileg, Bootsmann and Wilano as well as the Bundeschampion Bolero and Grandenschatz who placed third in the German Championships.
The Addington Elite August Sale is held in the beautiful parkland of the Addington Manor Estate in Buckinghamshire. With easy access from International Airports, situated 45 minutes from London Luton Airport and 1 hour from London Heathrow.
