The Swedish Equestrian Federation has announced the team that will represent Sweden at the 2022 World Para Dressage Championships in Herning (DEN) on 6 - 14 August 2022.
Sweden has selected a largely seasoned team with three riders who together have been to three Paralympics, two World Championships and six European Championships.
The Swedish para team includes:
- Louise Etzner Jakobsson - Goldstrike BJ (Grade IV)
- Lena Malmström - Fabulous Fidelie (Grade V)
- Sandra Karlsson - Don Damino (Grade II)
- Amalia Josbo - Lady Evelin (Grade V)
Amalia Josbo is the team rookie. With her horse Lady Evelin, she won silver medal at the 2022 Swedish Championships and was fourth place at the Nordic Baltic Championships.
"It's a strong team that we know can perform when it matters," said Andrea Barth, sports director of the Swedish Equestrian Association.
