Gestut Sprehe's 14-year old Grand Prix level competed stallion Daily Deal has been sold to Russia. He will continue as a junior riders horse for the St. Petersburg based Maria Kabukaeva.

Daily Deal is by Diamond Hit out of Lia (by Lauries x Florestan x Worldchamp) and bred by Heinrich Schulte-Hötte.

Licensed Stallion

Owned by  Jens Henning, the dark bay stallion was first licensed at the 2010 Westfalian Stallion Licensing in Munster-Handorf, where he was named reserve champion and sold to Gestut Sprehe. His licensing was quickly followed by an Oldenburg approval a month latr.

He did his 30-day stallion performance test in Munster-Handorf in the autumn of 2011 and scored 8.04 for dressage and 7.35 for show jumping.

As a breeding stallion, Daily Deal has sired three licensed sons, of which one is submitted to Studbook I (Daily Diamond, Dion, Tissot TP). Only 24 daughters are registered as broodmare with the German equestrian federation. So far he has no state premium daughters.

Sport Career

He was first competed as a 4-year old by Lukas Fischer in 2012. In 2014 Eyal Zlatin took over the reins and in 2015 Kristina Bröring-Sprehe briefly sat in the saddle.

He was further developed to FEI level by Sabina Rüben who competed him at S-level for the first time in March 2017. His first Inter II test was in June 2019. Rüben once competed him at Grand prix level in a CDI in Herzlake in July 2021.

As of 2022 the ride was allocated to Italian young rider Beatrice Arturi, who took over the head rider's place at Gestut Sprehe from Simone Pearce. She competed Daily Deal at young riders level at CDI's in Exloo, Samorin, and Meerle before representing Italy at the 2022 European Young Riders Championships in Hartpury, where they were 40th in the individual test with 66.177%.

Daily Deal has been sold and will be the ride of Russian junior rider Maria Kabukaeva as announced on Instagram.

The 16-year old Maria/Mariya  began her international show career in the children's division in 2018 aboard Vermut.

In 2019 she campaigned Friesian Casper fan Marijke (by Wobke 403 x Beart 411) and Elinor (by Ecuador x Radius) in the children's category, as well as Beauty Star (by Make My Day x Sultaatik's Fireball) in the FEI pony division. In 2020 pony Lemniscaat Rapsodie (by Anjershof Rocky x Downland Folklore) joined her string. This latter pony took her to her first Europeans, the 2021 European Pony Championships in Strzegom, Poland, where she was 40th in the individual test with 68.541%.

Kabukaeva was in her last year on ponies and needs to make the transition to junior level in 2023. Daily Deal could be her junior hopeful.
