Supergirl became the price highlight of the 2023 Westfalian spring elite auction in Munster-Handorf on 31 March 2023.
Back to Live Auction Events
For the first time since corona, the Westfalian studbook returned to hosting auctions "live" as they were forced to retest the live format after a major service crash in January 2023 of the online auction bidding platform. The organizers realised that nothing replaces a live atmosphere and therefore decided that for the spring elite auction an "OnLive" version would take place: a live auction, but with the option to bid online for those who can't make it to Germany.
"After the long time-out of live auctions in the past years, the spectators are happy to be able to be there live again. Nevertheless, online bidding has a promising future. We are glad to have the opportunity to combine both auction models," said auction manager Thomas Münch.
