The 5-year old Bacchabundus and the 6-year old Vitation became the winners of the Bundeschampionate qualifier held in Kurtscheid on 21 May 2023.
5-YO: Bacchabundus
Belgian Jerome Schneiders aced the L-level dressage horse test for 5-year olds aboard Berthold Hidien's Oldenburg gelding Bacchabundus (by Baron x Dimaggio). The pair received a total of 8.4 from judges Angelika Möllmann, Peter Holler, and Marco Orsini with the chestnut gelding earning 8 for walk and trot, 9 for canter, and 8.5 for submission and general impression.
Michele Schulmerig and Martin Hildegard's Oldenburg mare Fine Lady M (by Fursten-Look x Charmeur) were second with 8.2 points.
6-YO: Vitation
In the smaller M-level dressage test for 6-year olds, Jullian Wyrobnik convinced judges Andrea Schmittert, Holler and Orsini the most and claimed victory with 8.4. Aboard her own Rhinelander gelding Vitation (by Vitalis x Foundation) she received 8.5 for walk, trot, canter, 8 for submission and 8.5 for general impression.
Marie-Therese Leuchten-Paas and Theodor Leuchten's Rhinelander mare Sansibar L (by Sir Donnerhall x Flatley) were the runners-up with 8.3 points. The mare got 8 for walk, 8.5 for trot, 8 for canter, and 8.5 for submission and general impression.
