Simone Pearce Adds Grand Prix Horse All We Need to Her String

Australian Olympian Simone Pearce has added another Grand Prix horse - All We Need - to her string going into the 2024 Olympic year.

All We Need is a 9-year old Rhinelander mare by All at Once out of Friederike (by Fidermark x Worldchamp). She is bred by Silke Nicolaus-Krull.

The mare was first trained and competed by the breeder's daughter, Leonie Krull, who premiered her in 2019 at age 5.

The combination competed at local shows in Rhineland under the supervision of trainer Heiner Schiergen. In 2021 they rode their first S-level test and their international show debut as in October 2021 in Troisdorf, where they showed in the 7-year old division, posting 75.150% in the preliminary test and 68.900% in the finals test.

In 2023 Leonie and All We Need have been competing in the Louisdor Developing Grand Prix horse classes, Inter II and short Grand Prix tests in Ankum, Kerken, Wiesbaden, Langenfeld and Hamminkeln.

The Krull family has now decided to allocate the ride on All We Need to Simone Pearce.

"This special dancing diva is simply amazing and I’m so incredibly grateful to her owners, the Nicolaus-Krull family, for entrusting their beloved girl with me for what we hope will be a very exciting 2024 season," Simone stated.

Leonie Krull added, "uur exceptional homebred mare Ally will be competing for Australia next year under Simone. It really was love at first sight."

Alongside Gestut Sprehe's Destano, Pearce has been riding a string of (rising) GP horses since the summer of 2023, including her own Hemingway (by Voice x Jazz), her sponsor Thomas Ritzinger's Immerdale (by Everdale x Samarant), and Peggy Nears' Divine Charming (by Dancier x Weltmeyer).
