Swedish junior team rider Ellen Stymne has acquired a new iron in the fire for her future competition career. The Stymne family purchased the 7-year old Swedish warmblood mare Adelinde.

Adelinde is by Dream Boy out of Adelaide (by Don Primero x Magini x Krocket). She is bred and was owned by Christina Olsson.

The mare did her young horse test for Swedish Warmblood as a 3-year old in 2020 earning 8s and 9 for confirmation, 8 for walk, 9 for trot and 8.5 for canter. In 2021 she did the SWB riding horse test and got 8s for conformation, 7.5 for walk, 8 for trot and 9 for canter.

She made her competition debut in 2023 under Jeanna Hogberg who  competed her for a year. In 2023 they were first reserves for the World Young Horse Championships. They finished 6th at the 2023 Swedish Warmblood Young Horse Championships. In 2024 the mare did several FEI 7-year old horse tests finishing 2nd twice and third once.

Adelinde has now been sold for Ellen Stymne to ride.

The 17-year old represented Sweden at the 2023 European Junior Riders Championships on Crescendo and is scheduled to compete at the 2024 Europeans in Opglabbeek next week.

"She's my dream horse," Stymne stated about Adelinde.

Most recently Stymne began competing a new junior mount at the CDI Kristiansand in Norway: the 10-year old KWPN bred Joyful STH (by Boston x Samba Hit).
