New International Dressage Competition in Gothenburg on 13 - 16 May 2027

A new international dressage competition in Gothenburg is scheduled to take place at Åby Arena in Mölndal, Gothenburg (SWE) on 13 - 16 May 2027.

The 2027 DressagePower International Horse Show in Gothenburg will take place over four days and some of Europe's leading riders will compete alongside the stars of tomorrow in world-class international dressage.

DressagePower was founded in 2016 by Swedish Grand Prix rider Kristian von Krusenstierna and Peter Härnstam. The organisation aims to contribute to the development of dressage sport through innovative competition concepts and educational initiatives.

Sport and Community

They OC hopes to create an event where sport and community come together – always with the horse at the heart of the experience.

Under the theme "Inspired by Horses – United in Harmony," DressagePower aims to create an international platform that brings together riders, horse owners, businesses and spectators in an inspiring environment.

"Our ambition is to create an event where the world's best riders compete alongside the next generation on Swedish soil, while offering an experience that inspires the entire equestrian community. DressagePower International Horse Show will become a natural meeting place for riders, horse owners, businesses and spectators from across Europe," says Kristian von Krusenstierna.

Setting a New Benchmark in Sweden

Peter Härnstam added, "we strongly believe in the future of dressage and want to play an active role in shaping its development. Through innovation, outstanding quality and a strong commitment to horse welfare, we aim to create an international competition that sets a new benchmark in Sweden. Our ambition is to establish Sweden's premier international dressage event."

Visitors can look forward to top international dressage, VIP experiences, networking events, an exhibition featuring companies from the equestrian and lifestyle sectors, a well as restaurants, food experiences and social gathering spaces. There will be activities for riders, horse owners and spectators.
