The Swedish owned Hanoverian stallion Figaro R has been sold to Margo Brady in the United States. The 14-year old Hanoverian is currently in quarantine in New York for one month before moving to his new yard, Brady Equestrian centre in Downer, Minnesota.

Bred by Michael Schenk, Figaro R is by Friendship x Feiner Stern and was owned by the Swedish Gransbo stud farm and Rose Mathisen. The stallion is licensed for the Hanoverian society and Swedish warmblood society.

Figaro R has 425 registered offspring in Sweden and produced one licensed son so far, Faustino (out of a Bernstein dam). He was the Swedish Stallion Performance test winner in 2005. The dark bay stallion was competed up to Prix St Georges level nationally in Sweden by Rose Mathisen and Mia Runesson. He did his last show in 2012.

The sale took place right before Christmas 2014 but the horse was only to travel to the U.S. in January. Brady Equestrian centre previously owned the Swedish stallion Bayron (by Bernstein), which passed away in 2013.
