At the end of the year, the foundation Dutch Olympic Horse (NOP) has signed their contracts with horse owners to preserve them for the Dutch team. For dressage Toto Jr has been added on the NOP list.
The NOP foundation provides financial support to the owner of the horse, so that it will not be sold abroad.
Toto Jr
The 10-year old Hanoverian licensed stallion Toto Jr (by Totilas x Desperados) made his national Grand Prix debut this year.
Under Edward Gal, the black Totilas look-alike won the 2020 Dutch Grand Prix Championships with huge scores.
NOP Dressage Horses
Five dressage horses in total are included on the NOP list, three of them owned by gun mogul Gaston Glock: Toto Jr is the new comer, Zonik and Dream Boy retain their NOP status.
The other two NOP horses are Anne Meulendijk's Avanti and Emmelie Scholtens' Desperado. Both were on the Dutch team that won team silver at the 2019 European Dressage Championships in Rotterdam.
