The 12-year old Westfalian gelding Ray Dance has been sold again and found a new home and rider to 21-year old German Anna-Maria Prahl.

Ray Dance is by Rock Forever x Van The Man and is bred by Elke and Stefan Surmann.

Ann-Christin Wienkamp

He was first competed in Germany as a 3-year old by Rebecca Holtwiesch.

In 2014 Ann-Christin Wienkamp took over and placed fourth with him at the Bundeschampionate in Warendorf. Their last show was at M-level in 2015.

Charlotte Jorst

Danish born American Charlotte Jorst purchased Ray Dance as a 6-year old.

He was initially a stallion but was gelded to focus on sport. The new duo made its international show debut at small tour level at the 2017 CDI Burbank and competed at that level for two consecutive years.  They finished 12th, 7th and 12th in the three rounds of the 2018 U.S. Small Tour Championships.

Instead of taking the horse up to Grand Prix, Ray Dance was swapped in a big sales transaction at Andreas Helgstrand when Jorst acquired Zhaplin Langholt, Atterupgaards Botticelli and Grand Galaxy Win in October 2018.

Sophia Ritzinger

Sophia Ritzinger acquired Ray Dance in Denmark in the spring of 2019 and kept the horse in training with Wienkamp.

Wienkamp made her return show debut with Ray Dance at a local show in Greven on 9 - 10 March 2019, placing 6th in the S* class with 70.397% after which Ritzinger competed the horse between May and July 2019 at junior level at regional shows.

Ritzinger ran into issues with Ray Dance and began focusing more on her other horses Haydn R and Hove's Tatiana, which she had in training with her home coach Constanze Rügheimer.

In the summer of 2020 Wienkamp had to send the Ritzinger owned World Young Horse Championship finalist Lindballe's Just Perfect to Sophia, while Ray Dance was left in training with Wienkamp.

In August 2019 Ann-Christin returned to the arena with Ray Dance at Intermediaire II level at the Westfalian Regional Championships. She competed the horse through Grand Prix level in 2020.

Anna Marie Prahl

Ray Dance has now been acquired by German youth rider Anna-Maria Prahl, who will turn 22 in December 2021 and is set to move to the Under 25 division.

Prahl is yet to make her international show debut, but is a seasoned competitors on the German scene from ponies up the levels.

She started as a 12-year old on pony Negrino (by Negro x Nadler), after which pony Steendieks Mimocella (by Mad Max x Moraco) and horse Bella Vista (by Brentano II x Quattro B) followed. She rode her junior-young rider level classes with Flora B (by For Compliment x Quattro B) and Sympathie (by San Amour x Ehrenwort)/

Prahl's number one horse in the barn is the 12-year old KWPN gelding Entertainer (by Jazz x Ulft x Amor), who was shown in 2017 and 2018 in The Netherlands by Danielle Houtvast.  Prahl qualified for the 2019 Preis der Besten, and finished 21st with in Warendorf. At the 2020 German Young Riders Championships, she and Entertainer were 17th overall.

Initially trained by Esther Maruhn, Prahl is now working with Wolfram Wittig. Her parents have built a state-of the art equestrian center, Reitsportanlage Wietrehm in Wedemark (GER), for their daughter to develop her career in horses.
