Danish Championships to be Hosted by Helgstrand in Uggerhalne in 2022-2024

Helgstrand Dressage has secured a deal to be the host of the Danish Dressage Championships at its equestrian facility in Uggerhalne for the next three years.

In July the Danish Equestrian Federation initiated a new bidding process for the Danish Championships and received applications from four riding clubs.

Pen Nielsen, chair of the Danish Dressage Committee, decided for Helgstrand and motivated it as following:

“Helgstrand has a fantastic framework for a championship, and they have already proven that they can handle the task," said Nielsen. "In addition, their facilities for both horses and riders are top notch. The beautiful show grounds have grandstands for the public, and there are super good heating facilities with space for everyone, so we look forward to three more years in North Jutland."

The venue in Uggerhalne will host the Nationals for seniors, Under 25, para dressage and the Agria DRF championship from 2022 till 2024.

Traditionally the Danish Championships were hosted at Broholm castle, but in 2019 Uggerhalne took over and has hosted the event ever since.
